MISSION

"You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up." (Dt. 6:6-9)

At Glory 2 Glory we take prayer on behalf of and the training up of our children in the love and admonition of the Lord very seriously. Our goal at G2G is to join together, as an entire fellowship, to assist parents in raising godly children in a very ungodly world.

During our adult services we provide a loving, safe environment for our children where they can learn about the love of God and His Word. On Sunday mornings children receive interactive Bible studies from dedicated, qualified teachers at an age appropriate level. Less formal childcare/teachings are also provided during our mid-week service.

Groupings include:

Nursery/Toddlers (Ages Birth-3 yrs.)

PK-K, 1 st -3 rd Grades

4 th -6 th Grades

We use the highly esteemed Answers in Genesis ABC Bible Curriculum. The curriculum covers the entire scope of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation in a three year period. Children learn to see their Savior in every lesson as they learn hermeneutics (how to study the Bible), and how to know, obey, and defend God’s Word as they are encouraged to become conformed to the image of Christ.

KEY CONCEPTS

The Bible Is Trustworthy

We can trust all of God’s Word beginning in Genesis. While showing that Scripture is absolutely true, ABC emphasizes the importance of carefully and accurately interpreting the Bible.

God’s Attributes

God’s attributes are displayed throughout the Bible. As students discover the character of God, they are encouraged to grow more conformed to the image of Christ.

Chronological/

Historical

The Bible presents true history, not just “stories.” Chronological teaching through the whole Bible gives students of all ages a powerful, worldview-shaping overview of God’s Word.

Apologetics

We must be ready to give an answer for what we believe. ABC equips young and old with facts from culture, history, and science to defend the Bible against common skeptical questions.

God’s Redemptive Plan

God’s plan of redemption is woven throughout Scripture. From Genesis to Revelation, Answers Bible Curriculum traces the “scarlet thread” of the gospel to reveal this unified theme of the Bible.

Life Application

We are to live in light of what the Bible teaches. ABC brings the Bible’s teaching to bear on everyday life, impacting all ages with real-life, practical application.

Synchronized Learning

Every age level learns similar content at the same time. Lessons adjust the content for different ages.

THE CLASSROOM

All G2G teachers are members of the church. All aides are either members or regular attenders.

All team members have undergone background checks.

The children sit with the parents during the music/worship portion of the service. During the time of the “congregational greeting” parents may escort their children downstairs to sign them into their appropriate class.

Each family is assigned a number which will flash up on a small screen near the front of the sanctuary if a parent should be needed for any reason.

While our teachers and aides are comfortable helping children to overcome separation anxieties, parents are always welcome to sit in their child’s class if they should choose to. Children may also remain with their parents in the sanctuary, if parents would like, provided they can do so in a non-disruptive manner.

Children are generally served a snack. Please let the teachers know if your child has any food allergies.

Since we highly regard their safety, children will only be dismissed to a parent or designated adult.

Infants/Toddlers – please bring a diaper bag with any necessities (i.e., formula, bottle, diapers). There is also an area provided for nursing mothers.
